Plumeria Lei - PLAY SALTY x Nique Miller Collaboration Swimwear

Collaboration design inspired by Pro Surfer, Nique Miller. This lei design is a few steps above the typical lei pattern you might see on many Hawaiian print bags or textile prints. The lei pattern for those is a simple copy and paste, in a repeating pattern of one or two flowers. If you look at a flower lei, especially a plumeria lei, the flowers are not arranged in any set pattern. To create a natural lei look, I illustrated 14 different plumeria flowers. To achieve a look that added more flow, I made the pattern as a 1:2, staggered seamless print pattern. Needless to say, Nique Miller is more than stoked with the way this design turned out.
